This workshop blends practices and processes from agile, lean, UX, and design thinking. Each participant will start the day by choosing and idea to explore from their company’s context. From there, we will discuss many and try a few discovery tools. In the afternoon, the participants will fold the discovery learning in a delivery cadence, discussing discovery learnings that may call for a bit more discovery and those learnings that are best validating or valuated in a delivery cadence. The workshop is highly interactive and will challenge each participant to embrace their knowledge, or knowledge gaps, around customers, products, teams structures, validation measures, working within as well as across team and more. While you will learn, you will mostly like leave with as many questions to explore for your product community as you will with concrete ideas for fostering more of a sense of product centered learning for your existing team. Audience: Anyone who is ready to embrace the ambiguity of product learning. Specific people who have stated value in this workshop are Coaches, Product Managers, Product Owners, Product focused Technical Leaders, Scrum Masters, and other Upper Mgmt.
